The high-altitude setting brings water, bare slopes and lingering snow into close contact. In this view, the shoreline curves through the foreground and leads towards the deep blue lake, while patches of white break up the surrounding ground. It is a landscape that feels poised between seasons, recorded during a pause in the longer journey down from the mountains.
