Curved mirrored surfaces distort and layer the passing street scene. I released the shutter as the reflection of a grey hat reached the edge of a crescent-shaped mirror, its profile echoing the curve while overlapping another reflected figure. Deep red binds these fragments together. The complexity comes from timing and viewpoint: separate elements briefly align into a composition that disappears as the women continue along the footpath.
