From this spot at Köl-Suu, we could watch eagles soaring above the lake. The brilliant water sits within a narrow mountain gorge, and placing one person at its edge gives the scene a human measure. The ledge offers a momentary foothold for the eye before it moves out across the water and up towards the enclosing cliffs.
